(3 hours) Prerequisite: Permission of the Director of the Center for Global Education. An introduction to the meaning and significance of a Christian higher education in the context of American culture. The course is designed to help new and transfer international students successfully transition to Christian college campus life and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the primary tenents of Christianity. The course will also examine the components of culture, cultural adjustment, culture shock and how elements of one's home culture affect our understanding of another culture. This course cannot be challenged.
